14A- Halfway Reflection

I believe this course has made me use time management a lot more than I have in any of my other courses here at the University of Florida. If you are not able to manage your time well and cannot organize your thoughts and time well, this course can be a challenge. I think something this course has taught me however is creativity. In order to come up with these opportunities and to market it correctly, you must be creative or learn to be it and I think this course has developed that skill for me.

Every person in their life has a moment in life in which they feel like giving up. For me, I believe it was the summer before Freshman year at UF when my father passed away. It was a trying time for my family and I had to contemplate withdrawing from school and working at home. Thankfully, I continued to go through with school and was able to conquer my fears and worries and continue on. I think this course has allowed me to develop a tenacious attitude because I take control of the situations and assignments. I believe the course setup is the reason for this.

Three tips I would offer would be:

1. Stay on top of yourself and manage your time well because assignments will come and pass quickly. 
2. Don't get discouraged. With all these assignments on your opportunity, it is easy to lose interest in your opportunity or believe it is not good enough.
3. My last tip is that you get out what you put in. If you only care about turning in assignments for credit, this class will be fine but you will not get much out of it. If you put time and research into this class, you will gain a bunch of knowledge and use this in the future.
